Who we are

History comes alive with clothing. What people wore, why they wore it, how they wore their clothes, it’s all fascinating. Through clothing, we can step into the past and experience a slice of life in someone else’s shoes (ba-dum-tss). Egg in the Sky is my curated portal into the past that I am ecstatic to share with you all.

Growing up, I always had a hard time with clothing. My closet was filled with hand downs from my brother and dad that didn’t quite fit me right. I never saw myself in the mannequins around the mall, every piece of clothing didn’t feel like me. In vintage, I was able to find pieces that, with some trial and error, created my own personal style. Highly inspired by the bold colors of the 60’s and 70’s, I always think it is important to have fun with you clothing and my curation strives to reflect that.

I find my pieces wherever I can; thrift stores, goodwill, yard sales, estate sales, and everything of the sort. If you’re lucky, you might even find me going through bag of clothes thrown on the side of Ventura Blvd. I choose every piece that finds its way onto my racks to ensure the clothing is always fun, unique, and most importantly VINTAGE.
